Our Team
Abdalla Alghfeli, PhD
CEO & co-founderCurrently an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at United Arab Emirates University, I specialize in energy, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and material sciences. I focus on solar energy and materials synthesis, particularly carbon materials like graphene and graphite, including their characterization and optimization as a potential material used for batteries. I received my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 2022, my MS from the University of Florida in 2018, and my BS from the American University of Sharjah in 2014. At UCLA, I worked on custom solar thermal Chemical Vapor Deposition systems for graphene synthesis, including characterization, heat transfer modeling, and optimization. My postdoctoral research focused on advanced methane pyrolysis for sustainable graphite and hydrogen production. I have authored or co-authored 8 peer-reviewed publications and a doctoral thesis.

Mostafa Abuseada, PhD
COO & co-founderCurrently a Senior Test Engineer specializing in thermal events at Tesla’s Abuse Test and Engineering Team, I am highly motivated and passionate about renewable and sustainable energy, thermal management/utilization, and disruptive technological advancements. I received my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 2022, my MS from the University of Minnesota in 2019, and my BS from Texas A&M University in 2015. As a former PhD researcher with the Nanoscale Transport Research Group at UCLA, I worked on projects including the solar-thermal production of hydrogen and graphitic carbon via methane decomposition, thermally enhanced organic substrates for GaN power amplifiers, and high-temperature material characterization methods for evaluating thermal diffusivity with periodic heating. I have authored or co-authored 19 journal publications, 5 conference publications, and multiple theses.
